Why Graduate REALTOR® Institute?

If you have ever thought about earning your Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, then 2015 might be the year to do it. The GRI program has been gaining momentum here in Massachusetts and has had more attendees in 2014 than it did within the past five years combined. Last year, MAR awarded 14 REALTORS® the GRI designation for completing the requirement of six two-day courses within five years.

While you get five years to complete the program, Lori-Anne Hart from Boylston and Mathew Arruda from New Bedford were two of the seven REALTORS® who finished the program in just one year.

“I have learned so much and grown immensely as a result of my GRI courses, that it would take me hours to share what knowledge I have walked away with,” said Lori-Anne Hart. Mathew Arruda found an essential foundation from the courses, “Primarily it has helped my business because I have a significantly higher level of confidence when it comes to dealing with daily questions,” he said.

This year MAR’s Professional Development Committee has revamped the GRI by combining certain subjects into one course, adding new case-study material, and extending the offer for one free class to any new GRI student.

The Graduate REALTOR® Institute gives you the chance to expand your knowledge, increase your value, and set yourself apart from the competition.
